To prevent power loss during prolonged hard driving, AIRTEC has developed a larger, freer-flowing intercooler that directly replaces the smaller, more restrictive factory unit.
Utilising a stepped-core design to maximise the space available behind the bumper, the intercooler increases overall capacity by 64% and frontal surface area by 30% compared to the original. The core steps from 110mm to 70mm, with a 50mm inlet to minimise turbo lag and a 60mm outlet to reduce restriction. Combined with high-flow, cast aluminium end tanks and an internal air diverter, the result is greater cooling efficiency and improved performance across the rev range.
Despite the larger size, the intercooler fits neatly behind the stock bumper with no cutting or trimming required, allowing easy installation and full reversibility. Supplied as a complete kit with all fixtures, fittings, Pro Hoses silicone connectors, and full instructions, it’s available in Pro-Series Black (with or without the AIRTEC logo) for a clean, OEM+ finish.
