At Matt Lewis Racing, we aim to get your order to you quickly, safely, and reliably. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders in the UK and internationally.
1. Processing & Dispatch Times
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri) are usually dispatched the same day.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends, or bank holidays will be dispatched the next working day.
- All dispatch times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
2. Shipping Methods & Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, package weight, and the selected shipping service. Typical options include:
- Standard UK (Royal Mail 48) - estimated 2–3 working days
- Express UK (Royal Mail 24) - estimated 1–2 working days
- Courier UK - estimated next working day
- International Tracked services - times vary by destination (not DDP)
- FedEx DDP - delivery with duties and taxes paid at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates and are provided by carriers (delays may occur).
Only the FedEx DDP option includes duties and taxes in the shipping cost, with a breakdown visible at checkout. Other courier services do not include duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
3. International Duties, VAT & Import Taxes
FedEx DDP: Duties and taxes are included at checkout and itemised in the shipping box - more information here
Non-DDP shipping (other couriers and standard international options): Customers will be responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or other import taxes imposed by their country’s customs authority.
4. Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel:
- Is significantly delayed
- Is marked as delivered but not received, or
- Arrives damaged
Please contact us immediately at sales@mattlewisracing.co.uk. We will assist in investigating the issue and liaise with the courier to resolve it.
5. Local Pickup (Optional)
If you prefer to collect your order in person from our Surrey location, we can arrange a pickup by appointment. Please contact us to schedule a convenient time.
6. Order Tracking
- All tracked orders include a tracking number emailed to you once your order is dispatched.
- You can monitor your parcel using the courier’s or Royal Mail’s tracking page.
