This direct replacement boost pipe improves response and enhances induction sound by removing the internal sound suppressors built into the original pipe from the turbo. Ford added these suppressors to reduce noise and resonance, but they also create unnecessary restriction. By replacing the pipe with one that has no baffled internals, airflow is increased, internal volume is expanded, and the sound is noticeably improved. The result is sharper throttle response and a more engaging soundtrack from inside the car.
Constructed from high-quality aluminium, the enlarged pipe offers a 43% increase in size, maintaining a constant 57mm internal diameter throughout compared to the restrictive 40mm factory pipe. The smoother design with fewer bends promotes better flow, and the powder-coated black finish gives a clean OEM+ appearance.
The kit includes a Pro Hoses silicone connector along with all required fixtures and fittings, making installation straightforward.
