The kit mounts directly to the standard factory mounting points and rubbers, making it a straightforward replacement for the original intake. A dedicated heat shield creates a barrier between the cone filter and the rest of the engine bay, helping to maintain lower intake temperatures by reducing exposure to engine-bay heat.
Air from the factory cold-air feed is directed around the cone filter, helping to provide a consistent supply of cooler air. The intake also features a twin-tangential velocity stack, designed to optimise airflow into the system by reducing turbulence and improving the efficiency of the intake path.
