Quaife Helical LSD's - How They Work
Often imitated but never improved, the Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing (ATB) limited slip differential is the perfect traction solution that delivers noticeable performance benefits on any car using a factory ‘open’ differential unit
Once installed, drivers will notice an immediate difference, as the Quaife (ATB) limited slip differential automatically biases the torque across the axle to the wheel with the most grip. Unwanted wheelspin and slip are greatly reduced, resulting in less understeer on the front or four-wheel drive machines and reduced oversteer on rear-wheel drive vehicles. Rear-wheel drive cars with a Quaife limited slip differential become more controllable during oversteer moments, enabling drivers to exploit the full potential of their machines for the first time, leading to a more exciting, rewarding and rapid driving experience

Designed for Motorsport use, no instructions included
- There are no special parts required to install a Quaife ATB Differential, beyond what may normally be needed to install a stock unit. The basic parts needed will be differential bearings, transmission or rear end gaskets and possibly some shims if required.
- When running a Quaife ATB Differential in a standard transaxle gearbox, we recommend you use the oil recommended by your vehicle’s manufacturer – the Quaife ATB Differential does not require any special lubricants
- We recommend that the axle oil is changed after the first 500 miles as initially, they can create swarf - this is normal and will reduce with use
- This is a torque-biasing helical gear limited slip differential - not a plate type, viscous coupling or clutch pack differential. Quaife does not specify torque bias ratio details. The Quaife ATB differential is an all-helical gear design. The angle and tooth form of the helix used, the number of pinions used and many other factors, (including the individual vehicle application in question), all contribute to how the differential behaves and biases torque across an axle

- Some items are not stocked and do not have a 24hr postage service available. This will be noted at the bottom of the item page
International Shipping:
- We offer international shipping to most countries around the world
- International orders will be shipped via a Royal Mail Tracked service or the courier selected at checkout
- Delivery time for international orders varies based on location & shipping service, but we will provide you with a tracking number at the time of shipping

You will be responsible for the postage cost of returning the goods
If the product is received by you, the consumer in a defective or damaged state we will offer a full refund or exchange. Photographic evidence will be required. The product will need to be returned before a refund or exchange can be processed

Customers Outside the UK & EU:
