The Performance Clutches Stage 3 Sport Clutch Kit is designed for high-output and heavily modified Evo models that retain a factory Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF). It provides substantially increased clamping force and torque capacity, making it suitable for demanding applications where a standard or lower-stage clutch may no longer provide sufficient holding power.

The Stage 3 Sport uses a significantly uprated clamping load to provide strong and consistent power transfer under high torque. This makes it well suited to heavily tuned engines and vehicles where maintaining clutch grip under hard acceleration and sustained load is a priority.

Designed for demanding road and track use, the kit provides a firmer and more performance-focused engagement than a conventional road clutch. It is suited to drivers who prioritise torque capacity and durability and are prepared to trade some of the softer engagement of an OE-style clutch for increased performance.

The pressure plate uses ductile material construction, providing high burst strength and helping maintain consistent performance across a wide range of operating temperatures. Combined with the increased clamping force, this gives the clutch the resilience needed for repeated high-load and high-temperature use.
