The Mocal OTSPB1X thermostatic sandwich plate is a high-quality oil cooler adapter manufactured from anodised billet aluminium, designed to simplify the installation of an external oil cooler system while maintaining optimum oil temperatures.
Featuring an integrated thermostat, the sandwich plate automatically regulates oil flow to the oil cooler, allowing the engine oil to reach its correct operating temperature more quickly during cold starts. Once the preset temperature is reached, oil is directed through the cooler to help maintain stable oil temperatures under demanding driving conditions.
Precision-machined for durability and reliability, the billet aluminium construction provides excellent strength and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for performance road, track day, and motorsport applications.
Please note: This sandwich plate is suitable for engines fitted with metal spin-on oil filters only and is not compatible with paper element or cartridge-style oil filter housings.
