The Mocal OT/1 remote thermostat is designed to regulate oil flow within aftermarket oil cooler and remote oil filter systems, helping maintain optimum engine oil temperatures in performance and motorsport applications.
Manufactured from durable cast aluminium, this remote-mounted thermostat features an 80°C opening temperature, allowing oil to bypass the cooler during cold starts. Once the oil reaches operating temperature, the thermostat progressively directs flow through the oil cooler, helping prevent overcooling while ensuring effective temperature control under load.
Designed for use with 1/2" push-on hose fittings, the OT/1 is ideal for custom oil cooling installations where a sandwich plate thermostat is not suitable or where additional flexibility in system design is required.
