Ford Atlas axle with uprated 18 spline half shafts
Suitable For:
- Capri Mk2 3.0 fitted with group 4 18 spline Motorsport atlas axle
- Capri Mk3 2.8i/3.0 fitted with group 4 18 spline Motorsport atlas axle
- Escort Mk1/2 fitted with group 4 18 spline Motorsport atlas axle upgrade
Not Suitable For:
- Escort Mk1/2 English axle (Salisbury/Timken Type)
- Standard Atlas axle (16 spline)
- Cortina Atlas axle (weaker version)
On Ford Atlas axles the diff is removed from the rear via an inspection plate. On English Axles the diff is removed from the front as a complete unit
