Designed to improve performance and throttle response for both fast road and track use. This direct replacement kit features enlarged pipework and a freer-flowing design, allowing the turbo to breathe more efficiently.
The upgraded pipework increases internal diameter across both the hot and cold sides, beginning with a smooth taper from the 40mm turbo outlet up to 50mm at the intercooler inlet. From the intercooler’s 60mm outlet, the pipework gradually reduces to match the 49.5mm throttle body, maintaining a 53mm minimum through the new cast aluminium throttle body elbow. This eliminates the restrictive 38mm section found in the OEM setup, resulting in up to a 39% increase in internal diameter where it matters most.
Constructed from high-quality aluminium and finished in durable powder-coated black for an OEM+ appearance, the kit also includes a revised throttle body elbow, premium silicone connectors, and all necessary fixtures and fittings. The result is a noticeable improvement in airflow, response, and overall engine efficiency — a perfect complement to any AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler upgrade.
