AIRTEC's uprated intercooler kit for the i20N – designed for both track and fast road use.
The standard OEM intercooler can quickly become restrictive under hard driving, leading to heat soak and a drop in performance. To combat this, they've developed a larger, freer-flowing direct replacement that dramatically improves cooling efficiency and airflow.
The stepped core design makes the most of the limited space behind the bumper, with a depth of up to 130mm. This provides a huge 71% increase in overall capacity and a 55% larger frontal area compared to the original intercooler, ensuring optimum use of incoming airflow.
To further improve performance, the intercooler’s inlet and outlet diameters have been increased from 50mm to 63mm. This allows greater flow and can be paired with either the standard pipework or the larger AIRTEC cold side boost pipe. Combined with high-flow, one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air diverter, airflow is directed more efficiently, ensuring reliable performance even under demanding conditions.
Finished in a durable black powder coat, the kit includes Pro Hoses silicone connectors, all required fixtures and fittings, plus detailed instructions for a straightforward installation.
