The Focus ST & RS models have long been favourites among tuning enthusiasts, with power levels pushed far beyond factory limits. However, one consistent weak point has always been the standard cooling radiator, and that’s where the AIRTEC alloy radiator steps in.
Developed to handle the demands of high-performance and track-driven cars, the AIRTEC radiator features a huge 40mm core (the same specification used on their Cosworth radiators) compared to the OEM 30mm unit. To ensure perfect fitment despite the increased size, we’ve added adjustable billet lower locating pegs, allowing easy alignment and preventing twist during installation - ideal for setups running larger boost pipes or aftermarket intercoolers.
Constructed from high-quality alloy with fully welded end tanks, this radiator eliminates the weaknesses of Ford’s crimped plastic design, providing improved strength and reliability. Expect coolant temperature reductions of 10-15°c, making it a must-have upgrade for track day and high-performance Focus builds. The kit retains the use of the original fan assembly and allows the air-con radiator to mount directly using precision-machined blocks. Compatible with all major intercooler brands.
