Developed in-house at AIRTEC, this kit offers a complete upgrade to the factory air intake system, allowing increased airflow while maintaining low intake temperatures. The result is improved response, enhanced induction sound and a sharper, more purposeful look within the engine bay.
At the heart of the kit is a large, free-flowing pleated air filter housed within a three-piece, laser-cut enclosure. This is paired with a replacement aluminium intake pipe to further reduce restriction and smooth airflow.
To prevent heat soak from the surrounding engine bay, the air box is shielded by carefully designed heat shields and is supplied with a constant feed of cold air through the original front duct. The result is increased power, improved throttle response and a more engaging induction note. The system is a direct replacement that requires no cutting or drilling, and the kit includes all fixtures, fittings and detailed fitting instructions.
The cold air feed fits to the underside of the new air box from the trunking (included) and provides an additional supply of fresh, direct air from the front grille area, further enhancing intake efficiency.
