AIRTEC’s solution to improving the original setup was to make full use of the available space behind the front bumper and develop a direct replacement radiator that’s both wider and thicker than standard. This results in a 56% increase in capacity and a larger frontal area to enhance cooling efficiency and manage higher temperatures more effectively.
Despite the significant gains in size and performance, the radiator fits neatly behind the bumper with no modifications required, using the OEM mounts and original coolant connectors for a straightforward installation.
To protect the larger core in its exposed position at the front of the car, a mesh stone guard is also fitted to prevent damage from debris, a common issue that can reduce cooling performance over time. Finished in a durable black powder coat, the kit includes a detailed fitting guide for easy installation.
