To maintain consistent performance during extended hard driving, AIRTEC has developed a Stage 2, freer-flowing intercooler that’s a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM unit. Designed to handle higher boost levels and sustained power, this upgrade ensures there’s no noticeable drop in performance, even under demanding conditions.
To achieve the largest possible core within the limited space behind the bumper, AIRTEC’s engineers incorporated the crash bar into the intercooler’s design. The kit can be ordered complete with a modified crash bar, or the intercooler can be purchased separately if you’d prefer to modify your existing one.
This clever design allows the fitment of a massive 100mm core, providing a huge increase in overall capacity and a significant improvement in frontal surface area compared to the factory intercooler. The result is a dramatic gain in cooling efficiency and airflow, helping to keep intake temperatures low and power consistent.
Featuring high-flow, cast end tanks with a moulded one-piece design and an internal air diverter for optimal flow direction, the AIRTEC Motorsport Stage 2 intercooler delivers a major step up in performance and reliability over standard.
