Designed with a freer-flowing layout and larger internal diameters throughout, the kit significantly reduces restriction compared to the factory pipework. The system starts with a smooth taper from the 40mm turbo outlet, increasing by 25% to 50mm as it connects to the AIRTEC intercooler inlet. On the outlet side, the pipework transitions from the 60mm intercooler outlet down to match the 49.5mm throttle body, maintaining a minimum 53mm diameter before the new cast aluminium throttle body elbow, offering up to a 39% increase in internal diameter at the most restrictive point of the OEM setup.
This optimised flow path and increased volume improve airflow efficiency between the turbo and throttle body, resulting in faster spool-up, enhanced throttle response, and smoother power delivery.
