As part of AIRTEC’s BMW range, this intercooler upgrade has been developed for fast road and track use. Designed as a direct replacement for the standard OEM intercooler, it provides a larger, freer-flowing core to maintain performance even during extended periods of hard driving.
The intercooler features a wide, short core with a 160mm depth, delivering a significant increase in overall capacity and frontal area compared to the original unit. Combined with high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air diverter, airflow is optimised for maximum efficiency and volume, reducing intake temperatures and improving engine response.
For ease of installation, the inlet and outlets use the original BMW hose connectors, and the intercooler comes with all fixtures, fittings, and a detailed fitting guide.
Fitment: This intercooler replaces BMW part numbers 17517800680, 17517789333, and 17517800682 and is suitable for all models with matching 70mm inlet and outlets.
